  • CURRICULUM VITAE  (Prof. Dr.Benay Can Eke)

 

  • Prof. Dr.Benay Can Eke is a Turkish citizen and was born in 1959. She is married and has one son. She received her  B.Sc. as Pharmacist in 1982, her M.S.on nicotine metabolism in 1986 and her Ph.D. on Xenobiotic Metabolism in 1992 from University of Ankara, Faculty of Pharmacy. Department of Toxicology.

 

  • FELLOWSHIPS : She was a post doctoral fellowship at the University of Rochester , School of Medicine and Dentistry, Department of Biophysics, New York , USA and worked with Professor Mahin D. Maines on heme and nitric oxide metabolism in brain (1992-1993).

 

  • AWARDS : She was awarded the Ankara University Encouragement Award in Health Sciences (1997).

 

·         PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Assistant (1982-1992), Scientist (1992-1997), Assistant  Professor (1997), Associate Professor (1997), Professor(2003). She is participating in undergraduate and graduate training. Courses given by her are; Undergraduate -Toxicology : Graduate – Conjugations Reactions, Molecular Toxicology and Molecular Biology Technics in Toxicology.
