He was born in Aydıncık villiage of Refahiye, the district of
Erzincan in 1963. He finished Faculty of Theology of Erciyes University in
1987.
He become a Research Assistant in the Department of
History of Islamic Sects under the Division of Main Islamic Sciences in Faculty
of Theology of Ankara University in 1988.
He gaind MA degree in 1990 with the title of thesis:
The Origin of Murjia and Its
Politico-Relgious Ideas
He went to England in order to resarch and devolope
English Language in 1992 for six months.
He went to Egypt in order to resarch and devolope
Arabic Language in 1992-1993 for one year.
He gained the title of doctor in 1994 with the title of
thesis: Murjia and Its Spread on Khorasan and Mawaraunnahr.
He gained the title of an Associate Professor in 1997.
He gave a series of lectures in Kyrgyzistan Osh State
University Theology Faculty between 1997-1999. He also undertake the duty
of vice-Dean of Faculty for two years.
He is a frofessor in the Department of History of
Islamic Sects in Theology Faculty of AnkaraUniversity.
He is married and has two children
